I gotta.......

Once in a while, I explode when my stress level is too high.

I describe the feeling I have as "explosion".

I can't handle things anymore in the right mind.
I work very slow, but then once I figured out I am stressed,
I work quite well under stress.

{But explosion is just too much}

Under stress, I tend to procrastinate and have mindless eating,
mostly chocolate and crackers. And watch too many Youtube videos.

When actually I have emails to reply, places to go, chapters to review.
And a show to plan....and only a semester left to go? Oh boy.

But I emailed out my travel plans after graduation.
And I took pictures of the swim team at school today.
Also, I have been making a decent hours of time at work.

One thing at a time, Lisa. One thing at a time. xoxo

p.s. I think I can show you what I have been photographing in the next blog!

{they might not going to be the best ones though,
I will probably have to save those for the book/the prints.}

but you can get an idea where I have been to...

pps. Also, I will try not to be stressed out tomorrow...good night family.

ppps. I love moms. dads too. I am grateful for family.
They always come find me at the right time.

i didn't know you are secretly deleting me..

flickr flickr, you shouldn't have
let me add any more pictures.

now my older pictures are hidden
in your flickr world...silly me just realized....
how can i find them back?
getting a pro account?

i think i should start find another place
to put my pictures...perhaps, a new website

a new place.

truly disappointed
(in you or myself, i am not sure),

lisa

(i was able to find some in the hidden flickr,
only if someone had faved/commented on them)

well, they should all been backed up in a CD or
a hard drive of some sort at my house.

Not to worry. Good day!

frosty

taken on Wednesday here at school.

Every tree was covered with white frost. It's quite pretty.
Recently this week, the weather is warmer in the day too.

For evenings it is colder, but I get to see so many stars....
I know I am going to miss seeing the stars easily very much...

By the way, I just heard that this year's Chinese New Year day is on Valentine's day.

How was you all's weekend?

hahappy friday!

Be happy! It's Friday!

I would be catching up some hours of internship during the weekend.
Gotta investigate different people and see if they would
allow me to take pictures of them during their practice time.

I will be taking pictures of students here doing
winter sports, intramural sports, and performing art related things...

And catching up some more nutrition reading too.

I believe my body this semester (and hopefully in the future) would get healthier.
Because I'm dancing 2 hours every week at least, couple buddies are bringing me
to work out, while I will be more alert of what I am eating...

Hazzaa!

Have a beautiful weekend!

Real Baby: Kathryn

new year resolutions #11, go back & check out flickr faves

HAS_0382, originally uploaded by expat.thirty7.

it's always nice to come across what other people see in my city while i'm not there.

lately, i have been imagining what it's like if i live my whole life here in minnesota, will i be able to know this is call 94, and that's the direction for burnsville, and this is the way to st. cloud state? because i think i can tell how to go to tsim sha tsui, shatin and sa tau kwok...maybe... :)

i missed you last couple days, city.

i blame homesick for getting sad, but i was nervous about having school started, meeting new professors and borrowing a guitar from a friend....

i forgot how exciting to learn new things.

happy spring semester...i'm ready for you. :)

Downtown

New Year day... Mary, Becky, Travis and I went to downtown for pictures. :)

We were able to find some sweet locations as you will see below... I didn't take much but I do have some
behind the scene pictures for you of Becky getting pictures of her husband and Mary for her new photography business.

Here are some holga pictures I took on the same day :)

See Becky's picture at her photoblog, Tandem Bike Photography.

developped holga! (沖好的好光)

Good evening all - ♥

Sorry I haven't been around to make new posts, it was because after traveling back from Montana, school had started on Monday so I haven't be able to focus and write a blog. But I have plenty to share with you, be ready to come back and check them out!

The number one thing I am ready to share with you are the Holga pictures I was able to develop over the break ;) Back in August last year for my birthday, my cousin bought me a Holga...I also used it during Becky and Travis' wedding as well, it's very exciting to finally see my fall 2009 in these 12 pictures.

Not all of them turned out, but it was my very 1st attempt, and they turned out pretty well with a Fujicolor Superia 100 film. Note to self: Don't have too much light for the film, they would be over exposed. early morning or afternoon lights seem to make the photos soft and clear.

Alright, here you go!

p.s. most the pictures below are made a little bit darker because I can see them better :)
