around chicago

the second day of chicago trip, we went to the millennium
park and visited the art institute of Chicago.

the institute was having a "free february" deal, so we got to see some
awesome photographs and art for free,
but it was so packed that we left earlier than we hoped.

that same day we also went to the navy pier and went home for mcdonalds.
that night, diana and i watched adam and thought it was very interesting...

fun fact: diana's friend who we were able to stay with bought us a
pretty big bucket of ice-cream. we ate it all as we finished the movie.

this was taken the last day of the trip....
the trip seemed pretty short just by reading the blog posts.
but actually it was pretty nice....to have a less packed schedule...
we were able to slept in, cleaned the place, packed..
and went to the university cafeteria for a late lunch with the roommates...

the only schedule we have for the last day was the john hancock building.

it turned out perfect because it was the only day that the chicago sky was blue.

here is the picture from the chicago trip that surprised me very much.
it looked like someone else did this. haha, but it was my nikon!

finally finally, we went to cheesecake factory for our dinner
before we had catch the megabus back home.

it was sooooooooooo wonderfully good.

fun fact: we ordered a red velvet cheesecake to go for us to eat in the next morning
(at the minnesota airport from 5:30-9am)

you look so lovely in all the pictures! It looks like you had a really good time. I'm glad you had somewhere to stay for free and it is so cool that you saw a friend from HK. Where did you take the skyline picture from? How were you so high up? It is an awesome picture, very beautiful, looks like a postcard. I'm scared to hear your other stories. I'm just glad you are safe, why do you keep us in suspense? love you
