Prelude | BOOK INFO

Huzzah.

I have so many things I want to tell you.

There are so many things happening every day, but I didn't think they were blog worthy (?). I have been taking some pictures, but I haven't been able to go through them. It's the last three weeks of school. There are actually one week and one day of classes left. And there will study day, nutrition final day, and packing day..and family arrive day and graduation day.

It's INSANE over here.

I look ok, but my dark circles under my eyes are getting darker and darker. Today after my friends and I went to Sam's club to get some food for Saturday's birthday party, we went to Wendy's for dinner. I passed out on the couch after eating my dinner.

And as I was gonna go shower, the computer just woke me up completely....I still haven't gone yet. And now I am feeling hungry.

Can you believe though? I am graduating. I AM GRADUATING!!! It's my turn!!!

I was walking to my internship work place and singing to myself this morning. And I thought to my self "wow, four years ago, my friend and I took picture here and we did this there....."

I am going to miss everything here so much. It's been wonderful to be able to be studying here and met wonderful people. And my professors even helped me lined up a job for next year.

One of my good friends here, Natalie found out today officially she is going to teach in Korea, a city an hour away from Seoul!!! She is going to be teaching kindergarten children to 6th grade. How cute. (I'm flying there to see her when I have long weekend next year!)

Two of my awesome roommates birthdays are one day apart. Hue's birthday is today and V's tomorrow. So Natalie and I are planning a NEON party on Saturday. We are gonna do a smilebooth for them. It should be fun.

Internship is going well, I went through all the pictures today and my site supervisor Greg is amazing. He is really nice and very helpful. I'm going to be using Blurb again and print out a book by the end of this year (month/week). So I don't have much time left, but it will be good. We picked 8 prints couple days ago, and they will be framed and gonna be in HCC field house...

The project is called "prelude". I will write another blog post about this. :)

Guitar and dance are fine. The piece I am playing is really easy, but when I am working with another classmate, we are never in sync. It sucks. We suck actually. Dance final is coming up next week too.

Everything due soon.

And for Nutrition, as long as I study for the quiz tomorrow and do decent on the final, I will pass :D

Hopefully my GPA this semester will look alright.

I can't believe this is ending.

But I will have another year of living on my own.

I am going to have to seriously learn how to make different kinds food. So I won't bore myself to death.

There are still couple things on my mind I have to deal with.
But all I want to do recently is go out and play, read couple chapters of books I have been wanting to.

I want time to stop flying by so quickly, too.

it's always nice to come across what other people see in my city while i'm not there.

lately, i have been imagining what it's like if i live my whole life here in minnesota, will i be able to know this is call 94, and that's the direction for burnsville, and this is the way to st. cloud state? because i think i can tell how to go to tsim sha tsui, shatin and sa tau kwok...maybe... :)

i missed you last couple days, city.

i blame homesick for getting sad, but i was nervous about having school started, meeting new professors and borrowing a guitar from a friend....

i forgot how exciting to learn new things.

happy spring semester...i'm ready for you. :)

i am so psyched because i finished the paper after working so hard in the library!!! and behold.....i'm all done with this semester!!!!

after turning it in tomorrow i will start my packing for Mon-tan-na~!

09' winter

about 20 days later, it will be the year of 2010.
who would believe i could get this far.....

i am finishing my degree for communication and art, getting an internship with the photographer i heard about when i was a freshman, went to japan for a semester, got my own camera, done a personal exhibit, met amazing people...even attended a wedding of my sister's!

who would thought i will be typing about this in my dorm room in minnesota, united states of america...a place could get so cold whenever i get into a car i would shiver until the car warms up a bit...

10 years ago, in 2000... i was 11, just about to finish my 6th grade,
i was prepared to say goodbye (to people i thought was the world to me),
and i was in the process of finding a new place to start over with.

starting everything over with.

new middle school friends, new teachers, new routes for school,
new library, new supermarket to go to....

it took me a long time to get used to that,
(and to really understand how the bus routes work. haha)

now, i am graduating in a semester.
and i just said good luck to my high school friend on her finals
(she is graduating next year also, but in November)

who would know we can get this far? ;)

next (after finals + paper) :
new year's resolution and 2009 recap (perhaps in photos?) !

that was the first week

i had three classes on my birthday, and few other meetings.
not much were celebrated, but the cold stone cake was very sweet for my birthday :)
